Facebook Marketplace alerts for new listings
Last reviewed
Tell BStalker what you are hunting for, from a sectional couch to a particular tool. The free Chrome extension watches your Facebook Marketplace searches from your own browser. When a new listing matches, it lands in BStalker and can arrive as a push or email alert.
You keep your Facebook account and your searches in your browser. BStalker gives you one place to keep the searches, review the catches, and choose how you want to hear about them.
How does Facebook Marketplace alerting work?
- Add the extension and connect BStalker. The setup page detects the extension and links it to your account with one click. There is no code to copy.
- Choose what to watch. Enter a search such as “sectional couch,” with an optional maximum price and distance. Your Facebook login stays in your browser.
- Review new matches your way. Open them in BStalker, go straight to the Marketplace listing, or enable push and email alerts for the searches you choose.
The watcher runs while Chrome is open on this computer. When you reopen Chrome it catches up on anything it missed.
What does a real catch look like?
This is BStalker’s actual catch history from November 1, 2026: eight real Marketplace matches for a sectional-couch search, with their prices and the times BStalker accepted them. Your results depend on your own searches and what is listed near you.

What stays in my browser?
Your Facebook login never leaves this browser. We never see it and never store it.
The extension reads Marketplace search-result pages and sends listing details to your BStalker account over HTTPS. BStalker stores your chosen searches and matches so you can review them and receive alerts. It does not collect your Facebook password, post as you, message sellers, or watch unrelated browsing.
What does it cost?
The extension is free, and it works with a free BStalker account. Free accounts run the demo cadence: 1 search, checked about every 30 minutes. Full Access runs 3 searches checked every 2 to 5 minutes. You can try the complete loop before deciding whether the faster checks and extra searches are worth paying for.
Who is it for?
Marketplace Alerts is for people who repeatedly check the same local listings: furniture flippers, resellers, DIYers, and anyone waiting for the right item at the right price. A narrow search means less refreshing and a shorter path from “that looks right” to the original listing, where you decide whether to contact the seller.
BStalker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook or Meta. Facebook Marketplace names are used only to describe where the listings come from.
